Game + Design Education PUDCAD Universal Design Education Practice Conference Virtual Conference, June 24-26, 2020
Conference Theme “PUDCAD Universal Design Practice Conference: Game & Education” (E5) will be the closing and promoting event of the Practicing Universal Design Principles in Design Education through a CAD-based Game (PUDCAD) Project. The project is related to one of the foremost priorities of the European Commission: to provide the inclusion and efficient accessibility of people with disabilities into everyday life. Regarding the European Universal Design Standards and the current state of the universal design education in international networks, this project offers a design game on a CAD-Based platform that aims at students’ learning and practicing their universal design knowledge skills through an empathetic approach. The project deals with undergraduate design education to trigger the awareness of accessibility and let future designers and architects develop accessible and innovative design ideas. The focus of the conference and its activities is the dissemination and promotion of the game and launching of E-learning courses. The conference will be held online due to Covid-19 pandemic between the dates from 24-26 June 2020, with coordination of PUDCAD ITU Team. The conference aims to create a common platform for both sharing the project outcomes and inviting people studying on the related topics all over the world. It is open to academicians, students, relevant stakeholders and professionals from different areas of expertise. We would like to invite you all to join and present your studies in this inspiring and sharing platform. The accepted peer and blind reviewed papers will be published in the conference proceedings.
